There are lots of things that you might not feel comfortable reporting. If someone you know is harming others, it needs to be stopped – often for their sake as well as their victims. By reporting confidentially to Crime Stoppers, that person won’t know who it was who made the tip.
Crime Stoppers passes all tips onto the police for them to evaluate. An anonymous tip with little information may not be enough to justify an investigation. An anonymous tip that adds to what police already know could justify an investigation and/or search warrant.
